What you will do

As a Member of Technical Staff focusing on RL Environments at Not Diamond, you’ll partner with a world-class research and engineering organization to develop and execute our roadmap. You will contribute to innovations in algorithms and evaluations, development of resilient and scalable infrastructure, and capture of rollouts and other critical training signals. We want to work with thoughtful, curious, and mission-driven contributors with a bias towards action.

Specifically, you will

• develop our training infrastructure: task environments, verifiers, rollout pipelines, and model / policy updates
• expand our internal evals framework to new use cases, such as groundbreaking techniques in user simulation and multi-turn tasking
• collaborate with researchers and engineers to improve our routing algorithms and expand our infrastructure

What you will bring

• You have led development of critical infrastructure for model training and data collection
• You have excellent fundamental skills in software engineering, infrastructure and distributed systems, with extensive experience using sandboxes, containers / VMs, and data collection tooling
• You have knowledge in RL, reward modeling, post-training and evaluation, whether through hands-on experience or self-directed learning
• You are remarkably versatile, emotionally intelligent and driven towards high ownership. You are also an effective writer for both internal communication and external discussion.
